Lindsay Lewark

RVT

Basalt, Glenwood Springs

Lindsay grew up in Wisconsin, but moved to Colorado by way of California over ten years ago. Wherever home was, it was always filled with animals; from dogs and cats, to a horse, budgerigars, cockatiels and parrots, as well as the occasional mouse, turtle or frog that she and her brother “rescued” from the yard. Currently, Lindsay and her boyfriend Chris have a blue heeler named Tella who despises having her picture taken. Tella has been Lindsay’s PIC (partner in crime) and constant companion. The trio explores all of Colorado’s outdoor activities: rafting, camping, hiking, snowboarding, and boating. Tella’s favorite thing to do though, is to play fetch. All day. Every day.

Eventually, they plan to have a houseful of animals again and have hopes of starting an animal sanctuary to actively help farm and other domestic animals in need. They have lived in many of Colorado’s beautiful mountain towns and are happy to be calling the Roaring Fork Valley home. Lindsay became a member of the Willits Vet team as an assistant in May of 2019. She recently graduated from CMC’s Veterinary Technology program in the spring of 2020. She is so happy to now be a part of the nursing team!
